Hearing Aid Technology
New technology is making a significant difference in the way hearing aids compensate for hearing loss. However, this new technology can be confusing to the patient. So how do we determine which hearing aid is best for you?
Diagnostic Testing. In our office you will find the most technologically advanced hearing diagnostic equipment available, including a sound proof booth and the Real Ear Computer Measurement system. This system uses a computer to determine your ideal hearing pattern and a tiny microphone placed within the ear canal to ensure your hearing aid is adjusted to best fit your individual hearing needs.
Programmable Technology Communicating in the presence of background noise is often the major complaint of hearing aid users. Programmable technology allows us to program hearing aids to amplify different frequencies to different degrees, thus matching your pattern of hearing loss. Several models also have multiple memories that make it possible to choose different settings depending on the listening environment. Programmable hearing aids are as active as you are.

Nearly Invisible Hearing Aid. The new CIC (Completely In the Canal) instrument is much smaller than the traditional canal hearing aid. It has 16 potential advantages over other devices and is nearly invisible in the ear. Ask for more information and brochures.
